dtexec
I have started to conver our sql 2000 DTS packages to sql 2005 ssis packages.
I have been trying to execute them using the new command dtexec but I keep getting a
crazy error about Cannot find "CurrentVersion" value for component ...The current version for
the component cannot be located. This error occurs if the component has not set its registry
information to contain the CurrentVersion value in the DTSInfo section...
I realized that we did not install Integrated Services on the server. Is this required to run dtexec
from the command line. I'm setting up a Job to run the dtsx file. I need to confirm only because
our IT department will want proof that Integrated Services needs to be installed on the server.
Thanks.
