Do the IBM servers have any sort of remote control system similar to HP’s ILO?

I am looking for a way of remote controlling IBM servers and being able to access the BIOS as well as having complete control from when the IBM server first boots up (and before Windows loads).

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

what kind of IBM servers are you talking about?

If it's only for xSeries or Intel/AMD based blades, I'd strongly recommend requesting attention from a moderator to have this Q removed from the AIX zone!

They generally do (RSA or RSA II), although not always fitted as standard.

Needs to be removed from HP-UX as well, especiallt as it says Windows in the question.
