Cannot delete reverse lookup zone

I have a SBS2003 box that i have having issues with on teh reverse DNS.    Properties of teh reverse dns says that it is expired.  It is AD intergrated.  When i try to delete it, it tells me it cant becsaue teh AD service isnt available.    I have 2 nic's in it, but they are teamed.
I have read the other posting about this issue and the solution to flatten the box, isn't an option as i'm sure everybody would have a fit with losing emails and accounts.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Unteam the nics..do what you need to do, then re-team them.   None of the SBS wizards and many of the server functions don't support the teaming...
