I'm trying to uninstall WSUS 3.0 SP1 from my Windows Server 2003 and I get the following error:

Failed to drop network share. (-2147467259 WSUSTemp )

Thanks dstewartjr. The steps provided work.  But when I try to do a fresh install i get an error that says Failed to create network share. I click OK then I get an error that says failed to drop network share.

Are you installing from a network share?

Install WSUS locally and make sure System has full rights to the %systemdrive%.
