database Engine Tuning Advisor tuning log path
Hi Experts,
I am using database Engine Tuning Advisor to tune a Stored procedure by giving Trace file of SP.
Tuning progress was complele with 1 warning but i cna't see any recommendations or reports
Warning Says "Error encountered while generating reports ,check Tuning log"
Where can I check the tuning log(path)?

I looked at Log i get error
E000 Error encountered while generating reports. Write to [msdb].[dbo].[DTA_reports_ index] failed. 1 [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]Not enough columns bound

What user account are you using to run the DTA and what permissions does it have in the database engine?
Make sure that the login has all of the needed rights:

If this is the first run of the DTA, you have to use a sysadmin user to launch it. After the first run, a login can tune the PDS of any database it has db_owner rights to.

I am sys admin to server and db owner to DB including msdb and master
still unable to run

Looks like there may be some setup table issues. I found this:

and teh solution was to fun a script to recrete the tables. I am looking for the script now.
