SCOM 2007 R2 Alert details not displayed

We have SCOM 2007 R2 on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64. In SCOM console alert details section of the window states:
This program cannot display the webpage.
Everything else seems to be working fine.
Does anybody have an idea on how to resolve this.
Thank you in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should look into your proxy settings.
This sound like the IE not being able to resolve the adress.
Have you enabled bypass proxy for local adresses in IE.
Its just a website so try resolving it in IE.

Hi Walter,

thanks for answering. Proxy isn't defined in IE. Maybe some other thing I should try?
