Cannot Install Microsoft Office Publisher 2007

I'm currently working on a computer for a client where I'm running into the following issue.....

Publisher will not install, instead I receive the following error: Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 has encountered an error during setup.

My initial thoughts were uninstall Microsoft Office 2007 because it must be interfering. I was unable to do this by normal means so I had to use Revo Uninstaller. Office 2007 was successfully uninstalled but the Publisher 2007 error still remains.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I've also tried using another CD luck... :(
You could try this article from microsoft to see if it helps:

Also try disabling your webroot before the install, I know webroot can be a huge resource hog.

I did all of the following and still no luck.

I accept the licence agreement and about 60 sec after that the error window comes up.

I appreciate the help though, keep it comin if you think of anything else.

Now just to make sure you did remove all previous office products or upgraded?  Is this a stand alone cd of publisher or is it a package like small business or standard etc.

It did end up being another part of office still installed, I used the windows uninstaller third party program to remove all the excess office files and then ran the setup as administrator and it installed nicely.

Thanks for the help!
