Our CEO has multiple delegates working with his Exchange mailbox. The problem we are seeing is that when a calendar item is “changed” (usually a recurring event, but possibly not always) by a delegate, not all the invitees get the update on all their devices. I have seen my CTO get the update within his Outlook client, also visible in OWA, but NOT ever sent to his PDA. There have also been times when the update was not received at all by some invitees.
On the Exchange server we see Event errors for some of the delegates stating that they have “exceeded the maximum of 500 objects of type "objtFolder"”.
I’ve seen where I could increase the maximum “objects” via the registry… but is this the cause and what problems may I be introducing if I do increase since it applies to ALL users?
These issues may be related or not, but I would appreciate ideas an help on both.
