Workflow, if there is a formula assigned to an activity, it doesn't show on that person's "my activities"

I have a workflow application. For one of the activities I have a formula that has a field that holds the name of the person who would be the owner of the activity. If I put a persons name, it shows in their My Activity view, but if I use a formula to get the name it doesn't show in their My Activity View, but it shows them as the current participant.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Adctually Depending on your release -  I believe that this was one of the limitations of Lotus Workflow the Product.
If you use @command([CN];@UserName) for example it might bring up the users name but it somehow just doesn't actually conect the two and work.
