_Load( method of my windows form applicaiton is not being executed

I have a Windows web from named frmMain

in the code behind file frmMain.cs there is an onload method for the form

private void frmMain_Load(System.Object eventSender, System.EventArgs event Args)
{

However this method is not being called when my form loads. Does anyone know why the method is not being

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It sounds like the event has become dettached from the handler. If you select the form in design view, then go to the events section of the properties pane, do you see anything against the Load event? If you do then double-click it, does it take you to the Load() method of your form?
