How To Configure Cisco 1841 to Allow RDC 3389 from Internet

Hello Experts,

I have a Cisco 1841 that is using Zone-Based Firewall that I would like to configure to allow tcp 3389 so I can access my server from outside the office.

I know I have to create a zone-pair from outside-in and have an inspect policy but don't really know how to do it.

Can anyone help?

Not sure what your policy looks like now, but this should be added to allow for teh RDP traffic;

Router(config)# class-map type inspect match-all YOURCLASSMAP
Router(config-cmap)# match access-group 101

Router(config)# policy-map type inspect YOURPOLICYMAP
Router(config-pmap)# class type inspect YOURCLASSMAP
Router(config-pmap-c)# inspect  (should be there already)

access-list 101 permit tcp host <youroutsideip> <insideserver_globalIP> eq 3389

This should be added to your existing policy, can you post what you have?

I'm surprised no one else has responded to a question that I would think many are doing or needs. If not delete this question.
