Netgear to ASA connection breaking and IPsec slow

I have following connectivity problems:

First Configuration : On Site A i have Cisco ASA 5505 (with the newest firmware version) On site B i have Netgear ProSafe Firewall FVS 338 Firmware Version (Primary): 3.0.3-17.  Security type IPsec.

Second Configuration: Site A- FVS 338 Firmware Version (Primary): 3.0.3-17 On site B- FVS 338 Firmware Version (Primary): 3.0-.3-17. Security type IPsec

The problem with the first configuration is that is really slow when it comes to uploading even thought both sides have 100 MB/s and it breaks up unexpectedly and comes back by itself.  It cannot be reestablish from the netgear side.

The problem with the second configuration is that is extremely slow uploading and downloading
My first thought was that Ipsec is causing the slowness as to the breaking connection i tried multiple things including upgrading of the firmware .

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you done speed tests from each site to confirm the high upload speeds you expect?  Sometimes duplex mismatch problems with 100MB Internet uplinks can cause speeds in the 1-2MB range but only in one direction.

And there are many more out there.
