Sonicwall SSLVPN - LDAP wont authenticate

I have a Sonicwall TZ210 that I just set the basic setup of SSLVPN for but now I want to set LDAP up for the authentication method.
In the sonicwall menu I have filled in all the information that pertains to the LDAP server (address, version, directory) but when I click test it does try the server but fails with "Problem contacting LDAP server"
Was there anything that needed to be presetup to enable LDAP over TLS on the Win2003 Sp2 Standard server ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you verified that TLS works for your LDAP server?
(Try a LDAP Browser like Apache Studio)

Did you install the AD CA (Certificate Authority) certificate for the issuing CA on your SonicWALL appliance?

Can you check you can communicate with port 389,88 as well as 135 to get the reply.
