Netware 5.1 : RIP router configuration error detected

Greetings,

we are using a Netware 5.1 server and had a crash this night. I don't know if it is related but since a few hours I get following error on the monitor console :

18/05/2010   7:35:43 :    IPXRTR-6.70-2
   Severity = 1
   RIP router configuration error detected.
    Node 0015609C4A1A claims network address 00000003 should be 780D2BEE.

This error is showing up every minutes. Don't know what to do with that.

In the configuration of you network each IPX network is given a network number for routing purposes. When two servers on the same network disagree on the network number RIP router errors occur.

Check the other servers on the network with Inetcfg to find out what the proper network number should be (either  00000003 or 780D2BEE). Change the network number in your server to match the network number that the other servers are using.
