Looking for a copy of regsvr16.exe

I am trying to get an old 16-bit program working on my xp system and I'm having trouble registering 16-bit dll's and ocx's. I'm pretty sure that I need regsvr16.exe to register these, however, I'm really having a hard time locating a copy. There are a couple of previous posts on this site where experts have uploaded copies of the file, but the links no longer work. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks.

Happen to have any old Windows 95 disks by any chance? I dont even think we can post copyrighted files here..... But that would be the first place I would look......

I just checked an archive of a Win98 install, and it wasnt there.....

I'm afraid not. I believe the file may also be included on a VB4 disk - again I no longer have the install disks.

The ccrp utility here should sort out your 16-bit ocx registration (although I don't think it will handle dll's)

If you have pretty much any M$ installer CD that pre-dates Win98 there should be a compressed regsvr16.ex_ on there.
maybe dosbow helps here :  www.dosbox.com
