Using email address as OWA username login Exchange 2010
We have an Exchange 2010 server in our new 2008 R2 domain. The domain we established is in the formal of longdomainname.local. Our public domain is longdomainname.com. We have set up Exchange so that it will accept mail for user@longdomainname.com. The issue I have is the the users have to login to OWA with username@longdomainname.lo cal or longdomainname\username Thi becomes quite confusing for some of our users. I am looking for how I would set thigs so that a user could user a logon to OWA as username@longdomainname.co m

Why not allow them to login with just 'username' and default the domain OWA authenticates to?
