Software that would allowm me to see the boot screen of my server
Does anyone know of any software that would allow me to see the boot up screen of my server and maybe desktop. There has been time where i had to stand infront of my server and press F1 to move forward
Hmmm, I am not sure that exists. The best bet would be to get an iLO (integrated lights out) board installed in the server which you connect o and can see the boot screen and desktop. This makes it available on the L:AN or WAN if you wish and allows you to control many aspects of the system power.
An iLO would provide the exact functionality that you require for servers. This will also provide you with the ability to perform power management tasks, virtual media (attach you local CD/DVD drive or an ISO to your server remotely) and much more.
The only other way that you would be able to view the boot up screen on a physical machine without standing in front of it would be to use an IP KVM (although this is hardware, not software). You can then conenct remotely to the KVM over the network and can manage all of the servers and PCs that you connect to the KVM from anywhere.
If your Server and/or PC are virtual then you can view the boot-up screen through VI Client for VMWare when you power on the VM. You will be able to access the BIOS and everything as though the VM was a physical machine.
Hope this helps

Sample of interacting with BIOS. (In this case, a RAID BIOS that comes up as the machine is re-booted.)

Impossible for software to do it, because software wouldn't be loaded until after boot.
there is hardware do what you asking for you need to look in kvm over ip google it and you will find it but you don't have to wait in front of your server and press f1 if you let us know why you pressing f1 what is the message we can disable that rom the bios so you don't have press f1.
so 2 choices either kvm over ip hardware.
or tell us whyyou pressing f1 then we can tell you how to remove that.
