Web Interface 5.3 PNAgent Site - Citrix Online Plug-in could not contact the server entered.
When trying to connect to a newly created site, we get the error "Citrix online plug-in could not contact the server entered. This may be because the server is down, there is an error in the configuration file from the server, or the details entered are incorrect". In the event log we will see Event ID 40001 - Site path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\ PNAgent. An error occurred while enumerating a user's resources. An unrecognized XML message was received from a user device. [Unique Log ID: 803545b].
We are running XenApp 6 with WI 5.3 and are using the latest online app. There is a web interface site working correctly. XML port 8080. Connections attempts from the server itself fail in the same way. We have the Trust XML setting enabled in the Computer Policy. We have tried multiple times to delete and reinstall the site with no luck. The OS firewall is disabled. If there is anything else I can provide please let me know.

try changing the XML port to 80 instead of 8080

Thanks. I need to get the downtime but will follow up with you soon.
Within the SG setup and the Web Interface STA setup, have you tried using the IP address of your Citrix servers instead of the FQDN? I use the IP instead of the FQDN and this works fine for me. Otherwise, you could try adding the entries into the hosts file on the SG server?

Sorry, forgot to add, make sure you have port 443 open through your firewall to your SG (I presume in your DMZ), and 8080 and 1494 (or 2598 for Session Reliability) from your SG to your Citrix servers on the private network.

This is a single server setup. But, i will try the IP option. I have seen that before but I cant remember if I tried it out. Also, DNSGuru44, I could not move the XML port back to 80, I did move to 8084 with the same results. I am not sure what I was missing when moving to port 80.
K2engineer, I've just realised you didn't mention if you are using Secure Gateway alongside the Web Interface?

Just web interface. Very basic setup.
