Barracuda 200 Spam Firewall password issue

I have a used Barracuda 200 Spam Firewall.  I have reset the box to the factory defaults by holding in the rst button for 5 seconds.  On bootup I can login as user = admin,  password = admin.  It lets me set the local IP address so I can see the box from my local network.
In my browser It asks
"Please enter your administrator login and password."
 admin admin
does not work here.
Evidentially this administrator password is not reset with a default reset. How do I reset the administrator password?

When you enter admin/admin, are you getting a bad username/password error, or are not able to get web interface at all.

I am in their login page. I get a message
"Invalid Username or Password"
I tried admin , admin   and  root, admin.....

The only other thing that is hot on the page is the Barracuda logo which just links to their site.

5 sec reset should reset everything and admin/admin should work. When you say on bootup you can login as admin/admin - do you have a keyboard/monitor attached to it or how do you login to configure ip/subnet?

Yes, I have a keyboard & monitor hooked to the box.  Power-on and you get the motherboard boot bios, then a splash screen, then it boots the Barracuda Networks Kernal......30 sec later you get a request to login (admin, admin work here).  That then lets you set the IP address so you can access the box from your local network.  When you access the box through your browser you need to login.  This is where I am stuck.

do you have a forgot password link under login box? On my Barracuda box I have to use my email address to login.

second QA -may be relevant

No "forgot password link" on the page.  That link to www.succeed makes me think that this may have been a problem they fixed with an upgrade to the firmware.  My box has firmware  v3.4.10.102.

I just noticed that on

 http://www.succeed.net/help/barracuda_faq.htm

at the bottom it shows that the example page is from firmware v3.3.02.011 .  that might be on old screen shot of the Quarantine Inbox and not be the firmware for the login screen shown.

Maybe give them a call - tell them your serial No. and ask for support. They helped me once even though my support contract run out. I can't think of anything else apart from entering admin, Admin, Administrator then password, admin, Admin or even a blank password.

Commented:
In the Barracuda setup there is an allowable IP range you have to setup to allow remote login.   Make sure that is setup correctly.
Also, did you setup LDAP, if so you should also be able to login using admin@yourdomain.com with you windows admin password.

I think I have a boat anchor.  I call up Barracuda to see if they would help. Like an idiot I ley it out that I had purchased the box from a third party.  I did find out that the box is one of their earlier boxes.  Anyway I now have a new box on the way which still a a current subscription in place.

These boxes are set up with RAID.  Does anyone know if you clone a disk using the RAID function to bring up a second system? I don't know what I would with a second system.
