Making a digitally signed Infopath form editable

Is it possible to make an infopath form with a digital signature so that the signer and only the signer can edit the form after signing it if need be and break the signature and then re-sign the form? We have timesheets created in infopath and viewable in sharepoint, and if the person made a mistake and this is realized after they signed it, we don't want the person to have to re-create a brand new timesheet.

Which version are you using? 2007 or 2010?

You will need to create an impersonation step in a workflow to modify the permissions to the signee. But you can always delete your own signature in the form. I don't beleive just anyone can delete the signature.

Hi Skyshare, thanks for your response. Sounds like what I am looking for. So how can I delete my own signature?

And, I'm going to create a separate digital cert for each user and use that cert for each user's digital signature. Just thought I would throw that piece of knowledge into the equation to further clarify

I was trying to paste a digital signature that I have showing the remove option but I accidentally sent my company signature information.

I have several forms with multiple signatures, the thing you need to architect is the permissions issues with multiple users. This will take some time to think through. You can play with the view of the sections with digital signature if you want or dod not wnat them exposed, as welll.

I do not see any option to remove the signature. Here is a screen cap

I believe with the right digital signature setting this question has been answered.

What type of digital signature are you using for the form? Who is your certificate of authority? It should look simulair to my signature above??

I was trying apply it to a repeating section. It all works in non repeating sections, and i see all of the choices.

This is the first time you spoke of using a repeating section??

Dear mod,

I told him to tell me which post answered my question and I would mark it as the answer. If he wants to type out that you cannot add a digital certificate to a repeating section, i would be more than happy to give him the points. How can i give it to him otherwise??

Skyshare, if you can type me out a final answer, I'll more than gladly award the points to you. It looked like this question was dead.
