Password Enable Meet-Me Conference Calls

I am using Cisco Call Manager version 7.1.5 and Unity version 7.0(2).  I want to find a way to password enable my Meet-Me lines.  Lately we have had issues with people accidentally calling into our Meet-Me conference calls and want to stop this.  How can this be accomplished?

Or, how can I create a call handler in Unity to have the same Directory Number as the Meet-Me number.  That way I could at least set up a Supervised Transfer to pass the caller information off before the Meet-Me person accepts the caller.  I just can't figure out how to set up the Call Handler to grab the call before Call manager does if it is already set up as a meet-me extension.

What you are wanting to do cannot be accomplished with the standard, Meet-me calling features of Cisco Callmanager.  The Meet-me conf infrastructure provides only basic media termination, muxing and streaming to accomplish conf calls.  There are few handles, logic or other interfaces to the process.   In order to have PIN-based conf calls (with name announcement and a bunch of other nice additions) you could either a) upgrade to Cisco's conference server or b) Install an open source Asterisk box and use the Asterisk conference bridge.

The Cisco conf server is a bit expensive but integrates well, the Asterisk PBX is free but takes a bit of know-how and messing around to get it connected to the CallManager system.

I did not use the solution above as I wasn't sure how to complete some of the steps even though it was exactly what I want.  What I did on my own was created extensions only reachable from inside for Meet-Me numbers.  The callers have to call into 5871(External DID) but then are passed through Unity to 5971(Internal Only).  I did use most of the steps above, but I did use my own pass through method.  It works great!!!  Callers must announce their name and then the person on the meet-me end has the ability to reject or accept the caller.

The solution was perfect, but did require someone with a bit more Call Manager expertise than I have.  I was able to use most of it to create my own "round about" solution.
