Google Calendar event edit limit reached

I set-up a Google calendar to use with a community organization. I added the 60+ contacts and created some events. I added the contacts to share the google calendar and sent out invites to share the calendar. When i then try to send out event invites i get the message:

"You have reached the limit for the number of events you can edit. Please wait a few hours for your account to be reviewed. We appreciate your patience." No invites actually arrive in people's inboxes and it has been half a day and the message still appears.

bm_alvarez,
lot of customer's like yourself have been through this disappointing time with G Cal. Someone has come with a self-made solution, while others choose to wait: At least you have some choice

**USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT WHEN FOLLOWING THIS AS YOU WILL BE BACKING UP, DELETING, AND RESTORING ALL YOUR EVENTS**

I've been going through this a lot with some faculty and this seemed to consistently work.  The basic gist is to export, delete, then import your calendar.  Here's a more step by step:

Goto Calendar, Settings, Choose Export Calendars
This will save a zip file of your calendars in .ics format
Unzip it
If you want, you can verify that you have actually exported your events (I import the .ics into outlook and take a glance)
Once you're sure you've got all the data you need to restore, go back to Calendar, Settings
Click 'Delete' next to the calendar giving you trouble (**THIS WILL DELETE ALL OF YOUR EVENTS**)
Click on your Calendar home page and verify that the calendar is empty
On the left under 'Other calendars' Choose 'Add', 'Import Calendar'
Browse to the .ics you saved onto your computer
Select the Calendar you'd like the events to populate (probably the default)
Click 'Import'

bigbenV's suggestion works. i have tried it in the past but refused to try it this time.
instead, i waited to be contacted by google.
i never was BUT the problem, at some point roughly 3 weeks later, suddenly lifted
i could now go back & use calendar & even continue to sync.
again: i was never notified by google but somewhere someone did something and now it all works.
so my recommendation to all of you out there is: wait!

The answer wasn't definative but this shotgun approach addressed the issue.
