When you lose contact with the call manager and you go to SRST mode - what are the main features that you lose with the current version of SRST?  Back in 2001 it was pretty limited but I know that Cisco SRST has improved a lot since then.  Thanks.  I have the URL below.  But wanted an admin's perspective.  Thanks.

You may lose voicemail mainly, depending on your callmanager. For example if you have Business Edition, the VM is on the same server. Almost everything else can either be learned dynamically or pre-programmed. Things like hunt-groups may need to be pre-programmed.

You lose ATA support to analog devices

Cisco 7936 conference phones are not supported on SRST still

You lose the CAR accounting - big deal.

4.1 that you linked to is certainly not the latest -  8.0 is latest.

There is now even support for SRST for VoiceMail with CUE module.

Great help.  Thank you.  I was an early implementer of a large CCM deployment in 2000.  Now I may have cause to get back into it at another company.
