That is for Windows XP and Outlook 2003. I am using Outlook 2007 and Windows Vista
Check your Outlook Anywhere settings in the Server Configuration...Client Access. If you have Basic selected, the RPC settings in IIS will automatically disable Windows Authentication (NTLM) and enable Basic. These settings are passed to the XML that Autodiscover uses and when authenticate to the server using RPC, outlook changes those settings.
check out this site as well http://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-xp-tips/configure-outlook-2007-to-work-over-http-using-rpc-protocol/
is this issue resolved?
