Assuming you used the command line from the same PC, the only other thing I can think is that maybe your antivirus is interfering with XenCenter somehow.

i installed xenserver 5.6 and tried now to import the Synchronizer_v1_0_RC.xva (downloaded from citrix.com)<br />

the problem the import starts but after about 40! minutes i always get:<br />
The VM could not be imported; the end of the file was reached prematurely.<br />
Check your settings and try again.<br />

any idea? i have already re-downloaded the file from citrix.com (so the file is not corrupt; except<br />
the file on the citrix page itself is &quot;corrupt&quot; what i can't believe...<br />
