I'm planning to buy a laptop for study purposes. I will use the system to install Visual studio 2008 ,SQL Server 2008 and silverlight. I came across a machine on dell. All the specs are good except that they r giving windows 7 professional 32-bit.<br />

Will a 32-bit OS leverage the full power of the processor and the 4 GB RAM?<br />
Let me know which bit OS is better on i3/i5 processors.<br />

My buying decision is based on this and i appreciate your time and effort.<br />

32 bit OS on i5 processor

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use.
