Grid Control

We are running Oracle 10g.  In grid control I am seeing the following message for only 2 of our databases.. all the other ones are working fine.  The listener is up, I have bounced the agents and still it appears it can't 'find' 2 of them.  The accounts are fine (not locked...) Any suggestions ??

Failed to connect to database instance: ORA-01034: ORACLE not available.

Are ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID set correctly?

Where... not sure how that relates.  The 2 databases are up and I can connect to them without issue.
However, when I go into Grid Control, it is having problems connecting to them and shows the 'failed to connect to database instance' error message.
Note:  the EM repository is on a separate server.  I've bounced OMS and the agent as well as the agent on the database server... All the other databases i can 'see' in grid control, excep 2 of them.

PS: You may also need to "secure" the agent, execute this command before "emctl start agent":

./emctl secure agent {password}
