Perfect.

I found an explanation for this on the flexera website and it was the most needlessly convoluted thing I've ever seen. Your link was perfectly clear. Thanks.
Thanks. Still, one suggestion, as a bonus :-)  If I recall, the link instructs to find product code and specify it in the link as /x {code}. Better to specify not that but /x [PRODUCTCODE] - during the installation it will be correctly resolved. The difference is that if you create next version of this installatiion, the product code will change, so you will have to remember to change it in the shortcut as well. With [PRODUCTCODE] it will be automatic.
correction: not [PRODUCTCODE] but [ProductCode] (case-sensitive).

Aha!!!  Yes, makes perfect sense. I don't have have to test it to know it will work. Nice bonus. And you know that this IS something that many will forget come upgrade time. Thanks again
Bonus #2 (which denies all the above):

Windows User Experience Interaction Guidelines

Don't put shortcuts to the following items on the Start menu:
...
Program uninstallers. Users access uninstallers through the Programs control panel item.

Yeah, that's for Vista. But this is what they want and it works fine, but I have noted that recommendation
