Random Duplicate entries on Blackberry

I have users who randomly get duplicate calender entries.   I use the RSET command to clear the calendar and resync from the BES but after a few days random duplicates appear again!
BES version:  4.1.7    Outlook 2003
BB version Tour 9630, 5.0.0.591.  Also we have seen this on the new Curve.

This started when we received new BB’s from Verizon with the 5.0 OS installed, however Verizon said that this is a BES problem.  The problem only happens occasionally, and does not happen to everyone.  Any ideas?  Thanks!!

Are the duplicates on two different calendars? If you select an event it will tell you what calendar its on...

No, this is on the users sole calendar.

That link is for using desktop manager.  We are using BES.
Hey clexch,

did you test the parameter outlook.exe /resetfolders on your clientmailbox. Its solves the most duplication errors in bes. if it doesnt work, please post the last 10 hours of you bes MAGT log in which you had the error.

The duplications do not happen on the client, only on the Blackberry.  Will this still help my problem jochen?
yes.. i helps on aktivation problems,  in fact (on ca 50-60 percent, when your oulook folders werent found) first step i do, when i troubleshoot sync problems. if its doesnt solve. Next professional step:

there you could throubleshoot permission problems etc.
If you still have your problems post your latest bb logs.

make sure your BES server is fully upto date, there was a few bugs that caused this a while ago.

Secondly you may find removing the account from BES and re-creating it will resolve this issue.

Gave the outlook.exe /resetfolders  a try without success.  We have tried removing them from the BES and reactivating but it still comes up eventually with the duplicates.

One thing I did notice is that this only happens with the new Veriozon BB's with the 5.0 OS.  This does not happen with the other 2,000 Blackberry's still using older OS versions.  Still, anyone have any ideas?

I eventually found the solution, it was the OS version on the Blackberry device.  I did an RSET on the calendar to clean up the duplicates, and did the OS upgrade for the BB.
