Integrating MinGW with Visual Studio 2010/2008

I've been attempting to see how to integrate MinGW and Visual Studio 2010, but I have no idea where to start.

I haven't seen much documentation of this online anywhere.

Any ideas/detailed descriptions and instructions?

Thanks!

Hi. What you need to do is install MinGW and include the library, directories and other source files keeping your project open from Visual Studio. This you can do by opening from Tools>>options. Then from Options dialog Projects and Solutions>> VC++ Directories, you can include library, directories and other source files to your project to combine with MinGW.

You can ask more if you don't understand this.
That would make my software compile using the Visual Studio compiler. I don't want that.

At this point, I've given up and started to use QT with MinGW.
Ok. Let me clarify then. What does it mean by integrating here.
