Cisco 3750 Switch IOS Backup

Using a laptop How can I backup the IOS and Install a different IOS image onthe switch.

Please can you detail how this will be setup both Physical and application setup.

when i copy the IOs image to the switch it showing errors saying no disk space.
At present there is only one IOS image on the switch...what can i do to make space ?

you need to delete the old image, and after load the newer!

its showing tow images in the sh flash command
how do I make the new one the default image

sh ver commnad says whis ios is used

it still shows the old image.

I must say that when i copied the image - i copied straight in to the Flash, where as the other image was in a directory i.e

old image location
Directory:c3550-i5q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1 and then in the directory is the .bin file
sh when i do sh flash the directory shows up and then I have to do dir flash:c3550-i5q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1 to see whats in it.

do i now have to create a directory ? or shall i leave the new image inthe Flash and just set the switch to look at the flash ?

not sure what to do

Its working fiine now didnt have to creat the directory and after the reload it started showing the correct image file.
