We have a presentation tool that is HTML / Javascript based. It does not run off a server (it can but was designed to run from a CD). We use JQuery to load pages into the frame using effects like fade in etc. We load the page using a JQuery $.get to load the page from the disk. <br />

Works in Safari, FF, IE7,IE8 but not Chrome.<br />

If we run from a server then it works for Chrome.<br />

Clicking on the link in Chrome from local disk does nothing.<br />

Works in Safari, FF, IE7,IE8 but not Chrome.

If we run from a server then it works for Chrome.

Clicking on the link in Chrome from local disk does nothing.

Any ideas

Chrome has a problem loading pages using JQuery ajax when not running from a server
