Hi all,

Is there any way of finding out what account accessed a particular user database in a SQL Server 2000 instance?  I'm a newbee to administrating this so any help would be appreciated.

you can look at the log and that will tell you when a user connected to the database

what are you actually trying to findout?

You can capture it using a profiler.

Just capture the following to reduce the file size of your profiler trace:

1. Login Events
2. Data columns - Application name, host name, database name, login id and login time
3. Filters - Appropriate database name in database name filter.
