<cfmail> is not working for outside email address

Dear experts,
please help me as Im struck from 1 day.

I am using this below code for one of my coldfusion page.

<cfmail from="#customerservice#@#mailserver#" to="#email_addr#" subject="Account Query" server="our mail server">
                  This email is confidential and intended for  #name#                        
                  The information you requested is:  #pwd#
                  *** This Email Was Automatically Generated ***
</cfmail>

while the above is code is working fine for all the internal users with our domain email address.
But it is not working for other outside customers with abcd@yahoo.com
 etc..

please help me how can I solve this?

Just to add some extra information to the above,
this is working for all recipient email address such as *****@abc.com (abc is my company).

but if the email address is other than .abc.com, then the mails are not sent.
im receiving an error log such as:

Invalid Addresses; nested exception is: class javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try 550-5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or 550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at 550 5.1.1 http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=6596 g6si3435551anb.35
it has nothing to do with <cfmail> tag / coldfusion, and everything to do with your mail server configuration.

it looks like your mail server may have mail relaying to external domains disabled.

But then when the recipient id is @gmail.com, then it sends..
Any advise?
