Predecessor created 50 page handbook out of 50 separate word documents/files and it’s time to update the book. What's the best way to convert these 50 files to one file? Dragging each from a browser window into a new Word doc only embeds a link to the existing file, not the contents of the file itself. Might not be too bad except I think both a table of contents and in index will then have to be created and maintained manually (neither of which he had). And find and replace won’t work either. And I’m thinking there will be other obstacles that I haven’t even thought of. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. You gurus are AWESOME!
