i got unknown device from device manager.

ACPI stands for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface, so it could be something to do with the power management of your computer. Have you tried installing the chipset drivers for this system, it may take care of this unknown device.  Check support.dell.com to download drivers.

Awesome, so it was the Free Fall Sensor.

Same issue for me reloading Dell E6510 with Windows 7 - installing ST-Microelectronics_Free-Fal_A00_R257449.exe fixed it. Thank you for this post!

same issue for the Dell E5520 with Windows 7- was missing the freefall sensor.  Thanks much!
Same issue for a Dell Latitude E5420 fresh install of Win7_x86.  The laptop came with a SSD as well.  I didn't think the Free Fall Sensor would apply.  Thanks for the post!!
