Outlook: Calendar invites not appearing in inbox

Mike R.

Whenever I receive a calendar invite, the invite appears in my calendar with a "Not accepted" icon next to it, but I don't get an email notification.

I have checked the "Automatically accept" has NOT been checked.

Thanks!

Are the invites in the Deleted Items folder?

As you have confirmed that "Automatically accept" is not checked, then it must be a outlook rule which is deleting the invitations!!

1> check in deleted items or recover deleted items if you can find any deleted meeting requests
2> check outlook/mailbox rules might be causing this issue
3> most imp - sometime corrupt outlook rules can cause such weird issues. In such cases you need to use MFCMAPI to delete such rules. Please refer following articles for same,

Are you using a Blackberry or other mobile device with your phone?

Do you have a program scanning your email for viruses?

Are the organizer and invitee the same person?

Have you asked your Exchange administrator to track an invite to make sure it was delivered to the mailbox?

Turned out the user had his delegates turned on so all calendar invites went to his boss.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions though!
