WSS 3.0 to Sharepoint 2010 Migration
First thing I looked for was any previous help on this problem.
Came across this ticket.
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26219768/Sharepoint-Migration-and-Upgrade.html
I was hoping to avoid using a MOSS 2007 server but the only other option is to purchase migration software. I also tried Xavor's free software tool but it doesn't connect to 2010 properly at the moment.
So I tried the instructions from the EE link above but they are a bit vague and don't appear to work.
I installed Server 2003 and MOSS 2007 on a new VMWARE instance, I backed up the WSS_Content SQL database and restored it on the MOSS 2007 server but the content doesn't load. I just get the default start page.
I need some more assistance with this in order to complete our Sharepoint 2010 migration.

Are you moving from WSS 3.0 to SharePoint Foundations? or SharePoint 2010?
ASKER
Sharepoint 2010. I have the server already setup, I just need to migrate the content.
