Sharepoint Missing Images / Icons

On the Project Tracking Workspace template in WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007, the icons are missing for the deliverables and risks.  I've tried locating these icons and they are not on the WFE at all in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\IMAGES folder or any other.  I've tried to find them to download and cannot.  Does anyone know where these can be downloaded and added?

Thanks so much.

Most of the content used in templates is stored in the content databases when the site is created.  Usually in a key folders that can be seen using a tool like Sharepoint Designer or if you use the "View All Site Content" option for the Site Action tools.

Usually this occurs when someone uses a tool like Sharepoint Designer to remove these special folders.

Unfortunately these were this way upon installation.  I've read patches can cause this and we did slip stream all the patches and Cumulative Updates in the install.

Sorry I've never heard of a patch doing this unless the templates were radically changed or someone manually added images to the 12 folder.  Sharepoint will overwrite changes applied that were not deployed using 'Sharepoint Deployment Solutions'

I had to pen a ticket with Microsoft on this.  I could only find the images on sites hosted by Project Server 2007.  Microsoft had the same issues, so they contacted the Project Server support and asked for a copy of the missing icons.  I added the icons to the folder, refreshed the site and all is well.
