Hello experts,
I am preparing new systems for use on our network and I am creating custom images. The OS is Vista and I want to have a custom logon screen. You know, the "Press CTRL, ALT,  DEL" to logon screen? I want to customize this screen. I'm sure it resides in the System32 folder but I've never done this and would like a bit of advice. Thanks!

Modifying the system files can make the OS unstable.. You could do something like this:

Customizing system files is not the best Administration u can do... i don't really see the point to have a customized login screen. If you can live without it u should leave default.

I am well aware of what damage can be done by messing around in the system folder. I do however know that this can be done. My wife's work computer has a customized login screen image that her company's IT department created for the company.

Thanks for the link. This program works great. All I need to do now is create the custom image on the reference machine and deploy it to all the others. I am using Server 2008R2 and WDS so this shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!
