For single instance, many mysqld running, is it nornal?

yes. mysqld will start a number of processes in order to increase efficiency. Apache does the same thing.

I assume you are using using Linux because Windows will only show one process.
Older linux kernels may show multiple processes when you use "ps" because of the way the kernel (mis)reports threads as processes.

mysqld is multiple threaded, which means it will perform multiple operations (e.g. multi-user queries) at the same time using multiple threads.
