SSRS 2008 Export to Any Format Fails IE 6
Hi All - Have been working this issue on and off for a few weeks, including a significant amount of searching with no luck.
In short, when using SSRS on a company intranet, any IE 6 user who tries to export a report to Excel or any other format receives the following message after about 2 min:
Internet Explorer cannot download X.X from X.server
The connection with the server was reset.
This does not occur for IE 8 users so it must be some way in which IE 6 processes the HTTP request. The SSRS logs show that the report was sucessfully rendered, it is just never makes it through IE 6 into a file.
This MS KB article doesn't solve the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958479/en-us
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
