DC1 isdomainmaster FALSE

all workstations win7 vista xp ISDOMAINMASTER FALSE

ON DC1 i issue browstat status  here are the results

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.OUR>browstat status

Status for domain OUR on transport \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{EAD644D2-A055-43D0-B2ED-

    Browsing is active on domain.
    Master browser name is: TGCS002
Master browser is running build 3790

        \\TGCS001
        \\TGCS002
There are 8 servers in domain OUR on transport \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{EAD644D2
-A055-43D0-B2ED-F907540155CF}
Unable to retrieve server list from TGCS002: 64

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.OUR>

unable to retrieve list from dc2 ?????

Note

I just put a cisco router on the network removed the original router which now is on the inside of the network I mean the cisco has the access to the internet and the actiontech wan port plugs into the cisco ethernet port my tvs connect to the action tech they get an ip address of 192.168.1.100  my cisco router is 192.168.69.1 so I have two subnets i guess
this can be an issue i think but do not know how to resolve it

I am getting errors on both DC's

this one appears on a regular basis it thinks dc1 is a master why?

can both routers be the issue?

do I need to set someting in either router to stoip this?

I never had a home netowkr with more than one router before new territory for me

ASKER

I found this

Make sure the routers on the network are not forwarding UDP broadcasts, keeping browser elections on NetBT local to each subnet

How do I do that on my routers

1 cisco
2. actiontech
