Windows 2003 Terminal Server Default printer won't stay set
I have a windows 2003 terminal server and when the users log in they set their default printer. All printers are networked printers. Once they log out and back into an RDP session the default printer changes and they have to set it again.
This started after an upgrade from Windows 2000. I have not been able to find a way to get the users selected default printer to stick.

I found two probable solutions for you. I have used both at one time or another:

Thanks but those articles relate to redirecting printers from the client. These are Wyse terminals connecting to a terminal server and there are not local printers. The printers are installed on the Terminal Server directly.
Does the default printer always revert to the same printer (and if so, what is the printer)or does it pick up the "last set" default printer by whatever user was logged in at the time?
Non responsiveness from the Author of the Question does not mean there is no solution. The Author did not answer the Expert's questions.
