Network path not found in bat file

I am trying to use a bat file to copy a specific file from a server to each users machine using group policy. When i try and run it in the command promt i get cannot find network path however i am able to browse to it on the machine.

could be many reasons.  Check for spaces, case etc.

post the unc you are trying to reach.  you can delete anything personal although with this being a local path  it wouldnt matter from a security standpoint.

copy \\IGIS Settings\IGIS.lnk "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop"
copy \\IGIS Settings\g_Default.cfg "C:\Program Files\J River\ICETCP5"

It looks like you need to quote the first part since there is a space it it:

copy "\\IGIS Settings\IGIS.lnk" "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop"
copy "\\IGIS Settings\g_Default.cfg" "C:\Program Files\J River\ICETCP5"
