Internal server error

Hello,
I am migrated from IIS 6.0 to IIS 7.5 .I have one web application developed in asp.net 1.1.
This post is regarding error handling in  IIS 7.5. I have set customer error mode attribute to off in the web.config file.I have no issues in IIS6.0.If any error message is generated user is displyed the detailed error message. But the issue is with the IIS 7.0/7.5.The complete error message is not displayed on the screen and says internal server error. This driving me nuts because I do not have any way of knowking what might caused the error. Can someone help me in changing the setting to the apppool/IIS so that a complete error message is displayed.
Please let me know if my post is not clear enough to understand the issue.

Thanks
Sateesh

Hi,

You can use the Web Platform Installer (Web PI) to easily install IIS, and applications that run on IIS. The Web PI is a free, lightweight tool that lets you install IIS and related technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL Server Express, Visual Web Developer, other popular Web applications, and more. Because the Web PI references and links to the latest versions of available Web Platform offerings, with just a few simple clicks you can download and install any new tools or updates.

Please refer the following articles for the same:
