Hi All,

I try to connect to network ms sql server. I could connect it, but when I try to open the data base using query, the error message appear :

Msg 916, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
The server principal "SBGROUP\EMI" is not able to access the database "ERV_COMPANY_BAPJ" under the current security context.

What could be the problem?

Thank you.

This problem occurs when you have the View Server State permission. This permission does not enable you to view the records in the sys.dm_db_script_level view.

To work around this problem, run the query by using the System Administrator permission.
