Hi

I have a client who needs more than 2 users to connect remotely, this is a Microsoft SBS2003 server.  I understand that I need to install terminal server from add/remove windows components....

Once installed, will I need to do anything with the installed CALS? Or will the CALS installed be sufficeint?

This is a small company with only 5 users.... 2 of which are currently remote with a potential for a 3rd in the near future... pluse the boss wants to be able to login when he is away.

Thanks in advance.

SBS is not able to allow non users to use RDP and wouldnt cope with multiple users anyway as it isnt designed as an application server.

I read this in the link you supplied
Leverage Remote Web Workplace functionality in Windows Small Business Server 2003. This will provide mobile users in your organization with remote access to network resources and user desktops. There is no need to acquire an additional server
By using remote web workplace will this allow for more than 2 simultanious connections?

Thanks for the help

Remote Web workplace basically redirects users to a PC on site instead of connecting to a server.

You do not need licenses for SBS to use it as it relies on having a valid OS license on the PC you connect to (XP, vista/windows 7)
This means you are only limited by the number of PCs available/turned on in your office.

But with remote web workplace you can login to the server too.... won't that  provide the solution I need?
or am I back to the 2 simultanious users problem again?

Thanks

We have used Terminal Server Pro on two different SBS servers and it has been in operation for over two years without any issues. It allows for five simultaneous RDP connections on the server. More info at http://www.elusiva.com/products/TerminalServerPro.aspx

This also allows a free trial, so you can test it in your environment.
