Business portal with Dynamics Soap error (business portal

We have business portal with SL dynamics that employees use to enter billable time,  this system works fine … We are trying to implement a sonicwall SSL VPN device so users can access this internal page VIA a portal page.  When your outside of the office and you login into the portal page business portal comes up fine as does SharePoint but  certain items come up with this error.  From what I’ve been reading it’s a “double hop authentication” issue.  I’m a bit hesitant to try any solution I’ve found online since the system is working.  See the link below.  is there a way to get this to work without enabling Kerberos?
