Email Stuck In Queue After IP Address Change

Hello.
After moving our external address to a new IP address, emails to select domains are stuck in the outbound queue. Most emails are being sent successfully, but others are stuck in delay status. No errors are apparant. All DNS and server settings have been adjusted to the new IP. What could cause the delays in select messages only?

reverse dns entry was not done correctly.
